Water, Sanitation and Hygiene are the integral parts of community well being for health. We are committed to saving communities’ lives by advocating for the promotion of sustainable WASH projects within the communities
Uganda
51 percent of Ugandans lack access to safe water and 82 percent do not have access to improved sanitation facilities. At the same time, access to financial services in Uganda has improved significantly over the last decade, mostly driven by the expansion in mobile-money services.
South Sudan
Our first WASH campaign and assessment in Juba, South Sudan in March 2017 shows most communities living in Internal Displaced Camps and many parts of South Sudan dont have access to clean water, the available boreholes are salty and most communities opt for getting fresh water from River Nile and drink it without boiling posing great risks to their health. Some of these were transported by trucks to be allocated to each lot in IDP camps
